Assassin’s Creed Mirage Is Reportedly Coming During Spring 2023
Assassin’s Creed is coming back with a new game called Assassin’s Creed: Mirage in September. Although all’s hush-hush on Ubisoft’s part, and they are yet to comment on this.
But according to some leaks, the announcement of the game is coming very soon.
This leak reveals a long-awaited and much-needed change (on most players’ part) in the series. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla had been out two years ago. We’re definitely overdue for another one, and perhaps we’ll receive it soon.
According to the leak by Youtuber j0nathan, this new game will be set in Baghdad between 860 and 870 CE. We will play as the character Basim in his youth as a thief until he eventually arrives at the hidden ones.
This new game will also bring some of the gameplay basics back to the series.
The fundamental gameplay elements that have made the Assassin’s Creed series a beloved video game franchise will be the highlight of this new game. There will also be some new animation in the mix. We love to see it!
There will be several RPG elements removed, though. Like no more dialogue choices, no gender choices, and no more level system. The Eagle Vision will be back.
This particular YouTuber (j0nathan) also stated that Ubisoft is also currently working on the remake of the original Assassin’s Creed game. It is also to be noted that nothing has been confirmed as of now yet, so things can definitely change.
It is estimated that Ubisoft will be announcing sometime soon in the first week of September, during the Ubisoft Forward Event. Ubisoft Forward will stream on their official website, Twitch, and YouTube.
On September 10, you can go to Ubisoft.com/Forward and watch in your favorite format with a variety of language and accessibility options.
