This new generation of Zen 4 CPUs will introduce the 3D V-Cache technology to run 3D applications easily with better performance.
Key Points:
- AMD will launch its new generation of Zen 4 CPUs early next year.
- This will start with the rollout of the Ryzen 9 7950X3D and the Ryzen 7 7850X3D CPUs, the first in the line of Zen 4 CPUs.
- This increase in the utilization of cached memory will outperform almost all other Intek CPUs by a wide margin.
Esteemed computer hardware developers AMD will soon release its new generation of Zen 4 CPUs early next year. However, we will get to see product demos and presentations of the new CPUs starting next month.
The new Zen 4 Ryzen 7000 CPUs will feature the new 3D V-Cacghe system. According to YouTuber and technology and gaming news leaker MLID (Moore’s Law Is Dead), the 3D V-Cache technology will allow the CPU to “stack” L3 processor memory, improving the power and performance of the CPU. This stacking of memory is a boon for gamers, who will notice imoproved frame rates when playing high end games.
As per the reports, AMD seems to be creating two different CPUs to lead the pack of new Zen 4 CPUs. These two are the AMD Ryzen 7 7820X3D and the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D CPUs.
This 3D V-Cache has previously been featured in the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D. This CPU was released last year and was already way more powerful than the Intel Core i9 12900K. The 100MB L3 cache has been the main decider here as to whether AMD Ryzen CPUs or Intel Cie CUs are better for gaming.
