BGMI Banned In India, Goes Offline From The Play Store And The App Store
It looks like the battle royale game players are in distress again. The popular mobile game Battlegrounds Mobile India, known as Battlegrounds Mobile India, was removed from the Play Store and the App Store.
The government of India and Krafton delisted this game from both of the popular application stores ( Play Store and Apple’s App Store). The IT ministry has not yet revealed any official statement regarding the ban of the popular BGMI. Krafton, the creator of BGMI, also responded that they are also in the process of clarifying the reason behind this ban.
The game already has 100 million registered users in the country. The popular Indian version of PUBG mobile was relaunched specifically for Indian users as BGMI.
PUBG, previously famous in the south Asian market, faced a ban from the government of India and was removed from the Play Store and the App Store two years ago on September 2, 2022.

Responding to the sudden ban of this popular game, Krafton said –
“We are clarifying how BGMI was removed from Google Play store and the App store and will let you know once we get specific information,”
The fans of the BGMI game are asking both the Government and Google the ban their favorite game. There has been no specific explanation regarding this abrupt ban. However, Krafton has not confirmed anything. But, while removing the game, Google has cited the request of the government of India to ban this popular game.
According to many gamers and experts, this act will only hurt the gaming community and the multimillion-dollar gaming industry of BGMI. Although banned from the play store and the app store, the players can still access the game if they already have the game installed on their devices.
